I've had the pleasure of reading the first draft of this book as well as the
published version. It is very evident that AC Corran has grown as an author. The
fabricated world of The Coming of Kiesh has become sharper; more believable.
Though there are errors, as seems to be common with books released via Publish
America, the story itself makes it forgivable, reminiscent of Anne Rice's
Vampire Chronicles, except of course there are no vampires.
The Devil dwells here. A boy tormented and abused in his youth goes down the wrong path in
life. He kills. When Kiesh comes to his prison cell, he offers Aden a way out.
He offers him freedom. Does he pay for his sins, or serve the dark master? A
short tale, able to be consumed in a single afternoon, The Coming of Kiesh
questions good and evil, a few biblical stories retold from a new perspective.
This is a story that everyone should read; that everyone should give a chance if
for no other reason than to escape your own troubles and find yourself lost in
the dark world these characters are a part of.
